Firefly Guitar Watch is in a closed test on Google Play before release. Testers get the app early on their Android phone, free. Google asks that testers keep it installed for 14 days.

You will only be contacted by Google Play (the invite to the test). The developer will never contact you directly. All sign-up data is deleted once testing starts.
